My name is Christine Ching (I go by Chrissy). I am a sophomore in high school that knows what she wants in life. I hope to attend college at George Mason University. I am a pageant girl--I do pageants and they are my life. Take a walk with me while I try out some new systems in the coming year. During pageants, many times you are asked to speak upon a platform or many choose to speak upon one to better a cause. My subject of choice is bully awareness. I am an anxious competitor with an incredible drive. My pageant involvement so far is limited to the National American Miss Organization which is a pageant aimed at finding the leaders of tomorrow. This year I aged up enough to enter the Springfield Days pageant which is held in June in my city of Springfield! I am also competing at different levels at Sunburst Beauty which is my first true "Beauty" pageant. That shall be an interesting journey to follow. My final pageant is near and dear to me, for I have longed for a state title for quite some time. I am going for the title on my third and final try in the Jr. Teen division. Come watch the triumphs of the pageant world. They may surprise you. After all, in pageantry, you can never, ever count your chickens before they hatch.
